You Do Not Spend Time With Me Anymore!

I sometimes hear my mom complaining about us, that it was better when we were just kids because we have time for her. We always spent the time with her and told her stories about our days in the school or about our friends. It is already the opposite of what is happening now. Just after we graduated and got our jobs, we do not spend time with her anymore.
What she has been saying is true. My siblings have already a family of their own and even though I am not yet married, I am very much engrossed with my jobs. I felt guilty because I have realized that I have been too focused on my work to earn money. I have 2 jobs offline that have been always making me busy. I keep on doing my best with my jobs because I want to be a good provider. And when I am online, I am here in Mylot or studying something to improve myself more.
As much as possible, I want to be a good daughter and spend time with her no matter how difficult it is. Being a teacher requires me not to work only in the school/university. It is really unavoidable to bring also some papers at home and still work on checking papers, recording the scores, computing grades and doing learning devices.
Have you been in a similar situation? I know the title I wrote above does not apply only to parents and kids, just like what happened to us and our mom. It also happens with other kinds of relationships. How do you solve such conflicts when time seems to be the main issue?

@annierose When your children grow up and move out and your sad and don't know what to do with yourself some people literally fall into depression. I worry I will be one of those people.

She doesn't realize your not kids anymore. She should understand it though, but if anything else happen to her I hope you her kids will have time to attend to her needs.

I am sorry to hear that. I no longer have a father. He passed away one year ago.

Always remember that your parents are the reason why you became what you are today. Spare some of your time for them. They need not too much of your time and attention. They just want to receive even a little of it.
Just a little something that will make them feel that they are still important.
