Why Is This My Profile Picture?

Someone asked me why is this my profile picture, and the answer stunned them so they suggest I make it into a discussion.
My profile picture is not me,obviously...but it does say a lot about me. I find myself being artistic, with almost everything in my surroundings. I relate to life as if it were a painting, a poem, a novel, or even a drawing. I see beauty in everything, but often other people see ugliness and negativity.
My profile picture is not of myself because I am not a product, I do not want people to see me when they read my stories, poems, or journal entries...I want them to see a mystery, find a meaning of their own and turn into something they can use as inspiration. There is always more than meets the eyes, I do not want to limit myself or others by what they see when they see me.
Some of my discussions are short conversations, others are a deeper side that most people never see. The better part of me lives through these pages. Notebooks, discussions, poetry websites, something that adds meaning...I do this with just a pencil and a piece of blank paper.
I always hoped to inspire people, even if it is just one person my dream will have come true.
I have been working on a journal discussion about what we're leaving behind when our time is up...I want my stories to be known, to leave a mark on the world so even after I am gone, someone going through a hard time will come across it and KNOW that they are not alone in what they are feeling because there are millions in the world feeling the same exact thing.
Shallow first impressions, I have always hated those...I have never wanted people to know me by my face, but who I am as a soul...
That is why this is my profile picture.

You have a very inspiring way of telling about yourself. I never thought to look at myself in the ways you see yourself. Your words in this post has opened my eyes in many ways. I have been jotting things down about my past but they are in no order at all. The stories are boring and now I feel that I can make them come alive. Thank you for a wonderful and helpful post.

@AnnaAutopsy Thank you so much for your helpful words. I will keep writing and hopefully a little more descriptive than I have been doing. I won't give up and soon I will start sharing stories of my life.

I wish you luck on writing your stories. I know that they will leave an impression on someone on this earth, for what is useless to you could mean everything to someone else. That is the only thing that keeps me going, hope.
Sometimes things don't have to be in order, because you could create something new with something old.
I am so happy that I have helped, seeing yourself is often not a pretty picture, but through all of the negativity in the world...I think we owe it to ourselves to love who we are no matter how hard that journey may be.
I hope to read your story one day, never give up on it.

I think your avatar really tells so much how artistic and creative you are. Before this discussion, I already had that impression of you.

I'm surprised, not many people can really understand that. But for what it's worth, I am glad you did. Thank you :)

@AnnaAutopsy Not all people can see beyond the picture. Shallowness can make people blind to the real beauty of things.
