Because of the bad weather since weekend, classes have been suspended this week. Yesterday, classes were suspended in the afternoon but my two kids were not allowed to go home and they finished their classes. Its a good thing that they ahve a school bus service.
Today classes are suspended for the whole day. It does always take time for some authorities to declare suspension especially when there is really no typhoon.
I hope the weather is fine in your place. Please keep safe.

I hope everything will be safe for you. That is rather scary. I never had to deal with classes being canceled. I am thankful for that. Be safe!

@cherigucchi We almost had classes cancled because of an awful winter storm but I still had to walk in 8 inches of water for about half a mile. Haha!

When we read something, like what you posted, what comes into our mind is the physical classes that our kids have in school. The government authorities can suspend classes - physically in school, but I know that those who are learning are not much affected by the suspension on a physical level, because they are learning even beyond the four-walls of the classroom. Learning is not bound in the classroom. In fact, learning takes place mostly outside the classroom; it is done in the home, in the marketplace, in the streets, in the library, in the experiences, etc. Anyhow, have a great weather coming along in the days to come.

I do agree with you on that. The basic concern is only to those who are leaving the house to attend school somewhere else especially during a situation like this.

Classes have been suspended in some schools here including Universities, but not my son's. Despite the terrible weather condition, we still brought him to school.

That is actually the problem when suspension is not centralized.

I have heard that over the television..I feel too bad because just one heavy rain gives a big trouble in Metro Manila. Yes, keep safe always.

I heard of that. Our summer starts in March and rainy season starts in May.
