Names... we all have one. Some like theirs, some don't; some are namesakes; some names are asexual (for a boy or girl) like Jessi, Darian, Jordan... but "What's in a name?"
Me, My Mom and my sisters are all namesakes. I share a middle name with one of my sisters and my Mom~ we all have her Mom's middle name (my grandma). My oldest sisters were named after my Mom's mom and my uncle. Me and my other sister are named after songs (my Father loved music, singing and playing the guitar). All of our names can be shortened into boy's names and mine is asexual (boy or girl): (
Did I lose you yet? Can you guess any of our names?

I did check this out MySpot, although I already knew the meaning of my name. The one thing I did learn though is that it is much older than I thought it was. No, I am not going to share my name with you, but that is only because I never give my name in an open forum like this. :)

My gosh aren't they getting it!!!!!
My Name IS Miranda and the meaning for it:Gender: Feminine
Usage: English
Pronounced: mu-RAN-da
Derived from Latin mirandus meaning "admirable, wonderful". The name was created by Shakespeare for the heroine in his play 'The Tempest'. This is also the name of one of the moons of Uranus.
The most interesting moon geologically is Miranda. Even though it is only 500 km in diameter, it shows surface geological features that are as varied as any site in the Solar System.
It is not clear why Miranda has been so active geologically. Some theories invoke tidal heating effects earlier in its history, or a collision that tore it apart and allowed it to coelesce again. None are very conclusive.

My name is not on any of those sites. I contacted the person from behindthename once and he had never heard of it before and told me to let him know if I ever found a meaning to it. I don't really like the name but I like that it's uncommon. We uncommon I would like - NO ONE ELSE HAS MY NAME.

This is interesting MySpot and I did check it out properly, although I already knew the meaning of my name. However I did learn that it is much older than I originally thought. Will not share my name with you though, but only because I never tell anyone in an open forum what it is. :P:
