Do You Have A Junk Drawer?

I DO have a junk drawer and right now it is jam packed. I really MUST clean it out. So, I have that on my schedule for next week.
This drawer in a fairly large drawer in my kitchen and it has everything from batteries to candles to seed packets to nail clippers and who knows what else.
I’ve decided to empty the entire drawer into a container and sort through it and find what needs to be tossed and what needs to be stored somewhere else.
It will be quite a project so I’ve set aside three hours.
Next, I will tackle my silverware drawer.

I absolutely have a junk drawer with the same type of things in it that you have. Lol. It's packed also and needs to be gone through-I have to work up the motivation for that though!

I think a lot of people probably have a Junk drawer. It's just a necessary place to put small items that you don't know what to do with.

@IreneVincent your lucky it's only junk drawers that need cleaning. I have a whole extra room packed full and I have no idea how long it will take me to clean that out. In fact there are some things in there that I don't even know what they are and will have to ask my hubby if we even need them.

Oh I have that too, now that I've retired from my HOME business after 38 years. You can only imagine what I have in this room. I'm sitting in it right now. I have gotten rid of a LOT of things but still have a long way to go. I want to repurpose this room into a Guest Bedroom and Sewing Room.
But, it's taking more time than I had hoped.

Not only do I have a junk drawer in my kitchen, but I also have one in my bedroom. And if it were up to me, I'd have one in the bathroom too! lol

I have a whole room I'm sorting too, since I retired from my HOME business of 38 years. It's hard to believe all that I have already gotten out of here but there is still a lot to go. I have so much office supplies and paperwork that I don't need anymore.
I'm making progress but I have a long way to go yet.

@shshiju Yes, I hope to have it done by winter and then I'm going to paint the room and put in new carpet.
I will repurpose it as a Guest Room.

I have one in my kitchen with some of the same items in it and hard to tell what else. Funny you about cleaning yours out. I was thinking about cleaning mine out the other day but haven't gotten around to it yet. Hard to tell what I'll find when I do. LOL

Oh we can do better than that. We have an entire junk ROOM. But of course, that's for the big stuff. Yes, we do have a junk drawer in the kitchen, plus we keep some things like candles, etc. a shoebox full of screws & sundries in one of the cabinets. We're just full of junk around here, lol.

I see that a lot of people have a JUNK ROOM as well as a junk drawer. So do I. It was my HOME OFFICE for my business, but I retired last year and now, I want to repurpose this room into a Guest Room and Sewing Room
I'm getting rid of paperwork and files and office supplies and file cabinets, etc. I still have a lot to do.
