I Messed Up - Oh, How I Messed Up
Now, you just do know that I would never want to admit to messing up on anything that I attempt to do in the way of pictures. This just goes to show you that even the best of us geniuses...
I cannot even bear to finish that last sentence.
Anyway, about this screwed-up photograph. It was one that I attempted to make as I was awaiting my turn at the payment counter of the big "AAA" place. Everything was going along nicely until one of the customers then standing in my way at the counter (I like to go first...) turned around, spotted me taking pictures, and yelled at me - "Don't you dare take my photograph."
She probably knew that her backside was not at all photogenic.
So that caused a break in my photo-clicking sequence - and I needed there to be no breaks in the sequence in order that I complete the clicking needed to construct a panoramic view of the "AAA" office.
So I had to make a collage of two parts of the whole thing so as to avoid showing the lady's backside.
Such is the life of a would-be genius photographer. Messed up on an otherwise nifty photograph just because of some lady's misplaced modesty - or whatever you want to call it.

@jaboUK - Ms Janet - I do not understand that as even a very remote possibility, for after all, I did assure her that I was a perverted photographic genius; that is, despite all, my self portraits all show that I am handsome. Now THAT is pure genius.

LOL. I think mostly we just wonder why you were determined to take a picture of the Triple A office. Are you journaling? I'm sure that poor woman was sure you were fixated on her with your camera. You stalker!

@CinnamonGrl - Ms Sue - Today is another several days after your very kind posting about the world's need for a movie of Gus stalking around town shooting pano pix. I happened upon your comment again today and it made me laugh and carry on some. Funny thought, that one. FYI I have made some videos from these walking around pano pix. I have a computer program that makes it fun and easy to do that, music in the background and voice narrative plus text captions if I want them. Now you have me thinking about that stalking deal. I may just up and do it - but I am long on wanting to do it and short on the walking around thing. Maybe my walker gadget will assist. We will see. Fun thoughts, and I really appreciate your participation in the normal mayhem that "walks" with me and my little belt-carried camera.

I'm surprised you were allowed to take photos inside the building.... many buildings have stickers up saying photography is prohibited in the building ...blah blah blahh... so it might not have been her butt she was stressing about...
Ps I like the photo...i've been messing about with panoramic photos... my phone camera has it on it, as one of the functions available... its good fun...

@Ceerios No indeed ... I didn't realise they couldn't stop you from taking photos from the sidewalk... only within the limits or grounds of the property ... thats good to know... cos sometimes tbe no photos rule is ridiculous....

@sueznewz2 - Ms Susan - It is true that many people do not want you making photos inside of their buildings - and sometimes not even of the outsides of the buildings. I got the heave-ho off of the parking lot of a large shopping center by the center's "rent-a'cop" and his sidekick, a sheriff deputy. I just moved to the city sidewalk and made all the photos I wanted to make. Yes. They can prevent you from doing photography when you try to do it standing within the property, but not from doing it when you are outside of its bounds. I usually do ask first when I am inside. No need to ask for someone to shoot you or beat you over the head, right? -Gus-
