While I was browsing the internet, I came across with this left brain / right brain test. I know that we have two brain hemispheres wherein one is dominant than the other . So i became interested in taking the test. And the result is I am a left brain dominant. It says that I handle difficult problems with ease and expertise , analyze them step by step, and come to a well-informed and thought-out conclusion. I am comfortable in expressing myself verbally. I am a think first, act later person and not much of a risk-taker extraordinaire It's an interesting thing to know. Do you like to know which of your brain hemisphere is dominant? You can try this simple test if you want. visit http://www.archprofile.com/.

Thanks for sharing the link. If I remember correctly I'm a left-brained person as well although, I won't be surprised if I found out after taking the test that I have no brains at all!!!

Do you feel like the test was correct? I mean, are you comfortable expressing yourself verbally, etc.?

@magallon Well I couldn't figure out the site that you linked, so I found a different site. Apparently I'm left brained, as well. Now my question is: what is your dominant hand? Because I've heard that left-brained people are right-handed and right-brained people are left-handed. I'd be curious to see if there truly is a link between those two. (FYI: I'm right-handed) Which reminds me the joke that says a left-handed person is in their right mind.

@Genipher Each brain hemisphere has its own function. Our right brain hemisphere controls the functions of our left side of the body. The left brain hemisphere controls the functions of our right side of the body . That means , if you are a right handed person , your dominant brain hemisphere is the left' I am right handed. That means i am a left brained dominant .

I think my left brain is more dominant too than my right brain. If I were correct, right brain persons are good in arts? I can express myself more effectively when I am writing it than speaking of it. I usually stutter when I speak.

@magallon I loved to draw when I was a kid. My mom told me I got it from my father. But, I did not spend much time on it.

@annierose maybe you were less motivated that's why you lost your interest in drawing .

I had my two eldest children take the test. My daughter is 11 and she uses "both sides of her brain equally" My son is 9 and he also uses "both sides of his brain equally" I wonder if all children use both sides of their brain equally and then, as they become adults and their brain becomes fully developed, they use one side more than the other?

According to the article that I have read, being left or right brain dominant develops as children grow older. Like for example in handedness. At first, little children use both hands in writing, but as they grow older they tend to favor one hand over the other.

I am right handed. That means my left brain is dominant. Because the left brain controls our right side of the body.

I don't know, I think what's most important is that I can think and my brain isn't damage somewhat.

That true. No matter which brain hemisphere is dominant as long as we have a brain that functions normally.
