Seven hours to get there? I'm so lucky

The Jollibee Fast food restaurant had known to be the most famous restaurant in my country. Filipinos who worked abroad missed eating at this chain specially if there's no branch available in the country were they work. And when a chain becomes available, they flocked it and wait for hours for an order.
Now, this chain opened somewhere in Illinois, hard to believe people will come here form long distance just to eat here.
Unbelievable, I'm so lucky, just one jeepney drive and I'm there. But now, there's a strong rumor that a chain will be constructed beside the Public Market! and that's a minute walking distance from here. Mom has a habit of buying me fast food meal when ever she gets home, looks like I'll be getting a lot of it once they opened

Just like that guy who who had to drive 7 hours from another city just to get there.

There are a lot of branches in our place, very convenient, when my children were very small and they celebrate their birthday in school, we just buy Jollibee instead of preparing food to bring to school. I'm not really a fan, I sort of tired out already but my kids love it.

@Letranknight2015 When it comes to burgers my brand is Tropical Hut because that is where I eat when I was a kid, it was not yet a fast food, it was a restaurant,
I also bring my own mustard cause Jollibee and McDo only have catsup or ketchap.

@louievill I missed Tropical Hut, I like their pasta too, but the only chain we used to go to was somewhere in Talaba, and it was replaced by shakeyz. So sad they're not popular anymore.

I've been eating it since I was a kid @louievill unfortunately the school I spent my highschool and college only had mcdonalds as the closest branch. Well, i don't want to eat there everyday but probably most of the week.

Hello @peavey It hasn't been constructed yet so I couldn't confirm it yet. I thought they change their minds and turn it into a parking lot or something.

@Letranknight2015 I suppose if they have enough money to do that and it makes them happen then that is cool for them.

Hello @shaggin Some actually even had to take a 16 hours flight just to get there, which made me awe in their conviction to eat regardless how far it is.

Fastfoods had become a very lucrative business anywhere. But we must also try eating more healthy foods if we have the time to do it.

The brand had made a name. It's the same as McDonalds with another name which is Filipino in nature. We Filipinos are mostly fanatics about anything including restaurants, food, and other things. That's good for the franchisee owner, and those who are doing that business in other countries. What if we can have such kind of business?

Hello @ValueAdder there hasn't been any sort of development yet just a strong rumor. I hope things go well with the possible new chain so that it will be just walking distance.
