Tree Gone

I was slightly out in my guess-tamate how long it would take the council to remove the fallen tree on the Colne Brook bridge (http://www.mylot.com/post/2964959/if-a-tree-falls). I found this morning it was neatly removed.
I didn't check, but normally they use the sawn remains to make a habitat for creepy-crawlies and other wildlife.
The other fallen tree, blocking the trail, is still there. That is deeper in the woods and I think is the problem of the neighbouring council. My guess might be right for that one.

That was pretty quick in at least getting one fallen tree out of the way.
