Tree Gone

Colne Brook Bridge clear

I was slightly out in my guess-tamate how long it would take the council to remove the fallen tree on the Colne Brook bridge (http://www.mylot.com/post/2964959/if-a-tree-falls). I found this morning it was neatly removed. I didn't check, but normally they use the sawn remains to make a habitat for creepy-crawlies and other wildlife. The other fallen tree, blocking the trail, is still there. That is deeper in the woods and I think is the problem of the neighbouring council. My guess might be right for that one.

Looks like a fun place for squirrels to run up and down trees!

Now I think about it, I can't say I've ever seen any squirrels around. Wonder why?

They removed the tree in a very short time, this is good. Now you can continue your trip on this road.

@Ronrybs Yes, it's easier not to have to climb on them.

It's good that they leave the wood for habitat.
