. Yes, I am a tree hugger .. literally .. When I hug trees, I feel them hugging me back .. .. My husband reckons I am crazy, he calls me a "Dingbat treehugger".. Every place we go to, I make sure I get to take photos hugging trees. I am blessed to have a small retreat in my homeland where I go and hug as many trees as I want to .. That photo of me hugging the coconut tree was taken in 2012 .. You have to be careful when you hug trees because there could be a snake or big lizard up on the top and fall on you .. LOL! .. Do you hug trees? .. Bess .

You are shapely in that photo! I have not tried hugging a tree even if I love trees so much.

You looks cute in that photo hugging a coconut tree. But be careful, nuts can fall from the tree and it would cause much harm. You have a nice way of "talking" with the trees.

Awesome picture. I admire trees but I can't say that I hug them. Ohe my I would be so scared of a snake or lizard falling on me. I would die right on the stop. You are very brave.

I've never thought about hugging a tree before. But, I guess they need hugs just like we do.

I grew up in my home province where we experienced tidal waves or tsunami.. some people survived because they clung on to trees... We don't have to wait for tsunamis to hug trees... Trees are very important but most of us don't really value them..

@epiffanie You are so right on that. People don't realize just how important trees are to us for survival.
