How About Making it Simple

I'm sorry to say, but I'm not comfortable in reading long discussions unless it really catches my attention and I can relate with the said topic. So why not making it simple for us to really comprehend what you want us to know. If it's not necessary to make it long then make it short as much as possible. Anyway myLot never gives us a minimum limit to how many characters, at least, we must have in our discussion. Just sharing my thoughts so please don't be offended. Peace to all! Which do you prefer to read? A long discussion or a short and simple one?

Since I don't come here for news or commentary, I would rather short and simple but having said that some long ones are amazing.

Yes, you're right. There are some long posts that are really good and worth reading but some of them have no sense at all.

I like to read shorter ones too; but even if it is long, if it is interesting, I will read it.

That depends on the person who will respond to my post. I don't really care how long it is, sometimes i seem to get the point in some long post. I randomly check post but not all of them

For me, it depends on the topic. I don't care if it is long or short as long as it is beautiful.

I tend to like the longer discussions, ones that have lots of information. A lot of shorter posts don't make much sense to me. I like discussions that I'm able to give my own opinion on and not sound like the dozen others that have already responded to the discussion.

true. sometimes i have to search through the comments to find the details so i can put a response that doesn't just echo what everyone else already said.

if the discussion is long and it takes more of your time understanding it, why not just move on to other lotters' discussions?

Yes, one sentence post is also not good to read. Same with long post without thought or no sense at all.

I much prefer a shorter one, but it needs to have a couple of paragraphs at least. It's also easier to read if it is still double spaced after a couple of sentences.

Sometimes you can't explain something properly or give much information in a really short discussion. It all depends on what you're trying to say.

I find that the short and simple ones are easier to follow.
