I just participated in Hunter Yoga's Daily Practice program. It's a 28 day program to help us to get connected with ourselves, be more present and calm, have more energy, etc.
I have done my second day practice, doing the yoga practice in the morning and meditation at night. I feel the benefits for my body, as I feel less pain and discomfort now, but I haven't become calmer or more present yet. I know I need consistently practice.
I have always wanted to be calmer and more mindful. It's not only good for my children and my family, it's good for myself too. I will continue to work on this, and I hope I will be there soon.

Yes. We have a friend who are vegetarians and member of Ananda Marga in our City. It's a community of monk who teach meditation and Yoga. They practice meditation as well as Yoga. The inner peace. I joined almost like 5 session. At first it was very tough for me because I'm new. Then the meditation is real. It will took 2 to 3 hours or so to find your inner peace. What I like the most about Yoga is after you meditate you will feel calm and fresh. Not to mention the food. They are all healthy vegetables. You won't even recognize it is all made up of vegetables. I miss it. Sometimes I do the basic. Namaste.
