I Made A Stupid Mistake

I could just kick myself for making this stupid mistake. I was looking online yesterday to check the status of my financial aid for my online courses. It said they needed me to verify my income. I didn't know what that meant as I had added the comment that I didn't work and that my brother took care of all expenses. I had put zero under all expenses.
I was getting frustrating because I didn't know what else they needed. All of a sudden my eyes were drawn to a certain area on the form that I had not completed. It was something simple that needed a yes or a no. It was around 5pm last night but I went ahead and completed the form, scanned it and resubmitted to them.
I know the financial aid department is working today but I don't know for how long. According to my admission counselor, I only have until noon today to get registered. It will be a close call but I don't think I will make it today.
While I was mentally kicking myself for my mistake, I thought ... I could always register for the next semester. I started to feel better. Sure, I really want to start Monday but it's not the end of the world. If I am approved but it is after noon today, I will just register for the new semester in October.
So, I will still be on pins and needles this morning but at least now I have a plan B. Now you know what I will be doing today...so what do you have planned?

I have my fingers crossed for you that you will be able to make it in under the wire today.
We're planning a quiet day today, we have to be out of the house for a little over an hour this morning as we have some people from out of town touring our home with their real estate agent, so we'll likely go to town to get something to eat. Its a hot and humid day, so I'll likely get my groceries and not do much else. Enjoy your day today.

I really hope that they get you processed today so you can start right away but you are right, the world won't end if you have to start in October.

I'm trying to have a positive attitude. I have no one but myself to blame. I guess it just wasn't meant to be this semester. Your cat sounds like my two dogs. I usually sit in my recliner to color and watch TV. Every time I get up, one of them takes my spot. I am constantly moving them to their own beds. Bella doesn't care to be moved once she has made a spot her own and often growls when I move her. She's not mean about it, it's just her way of letting me know that she doesn't appreciate it at all.

We were quite late the first time my daughter attended college with the financial aid requirements, and she was still able to attend. But she didn't start right away, she still had a few weeks to go. Hoping for the best, but at least you have other options.
Good thing that you took a minute to look at it closer or you'd not have made it for the next time either.

paperwork paperwork. There was a delay in my daughter getting her medical card because she skipped over the part of sending in proof of her income. Thankfully I got it for her and she now has a medical card to cover what our insurance doesn't on the pregnancy.
