Dear friends, Yesterday I had to ask Juanita to take me to a shop to buy some woolen socks I could use with my shoes as my feet were icecold.
I had checked at Google what weather I should expect at San Fernando before I arranged my suitcase and I saw beautiful suns everywhere. Yet yesterdat some drops of cold rain were falling and my feet and hands were very cold.
At the shop there were some very ugly gloves on sale (for a dollar) some I bought a pair. I could spare a dollar to have my hands warm.
I hope this is the last time I forget my common sense. I know that at this time of the year anything can happen. And although we can take something light, we must also bring warm things just in case.
Have you had to buy clothes when going anywhere because the weather was not what you thought?

I had to buy a sun hat once when we went camping and I forgot mine. Other than that I don't think I have had to buy anything while travelling - I usually pack for unexpected weather.

I wish I had done that. Still, I´m happy with my new socks.

Hmmm, good question. I don't remember that happening for me. Weather really can change so quiclky in some areas. Our local weather is hardly ever right when it's stormy, the rain can be falling a little ways up or down the hill but not in our neighborhood. It's crazy.

I know what to do as clothes go where I live but it is different elsewhere.

I experienced buying a jacket while I was on a vacation not because I thought it will be warmer but because I forgot to bring one and to think that our destination is one of the coldest place here in The Philippines. lol
