Big Bird Thinks He Lives Here

Yesterday evening I went into the kitchen for a drink of water. I glanced out the window and what did I see but big bird standing on the boat. He must have stayed there (possibly sleeping) for an hour or longer.
Ruby gave him 'what for' but it didn't phase him at all, he just sat there...or stood there I should say...on one leg, I know he has two of them!
I wonder if we can count him as a dependent at tax time?
Photo is mine, no one else wants to claim it LOL!

He spends his time in our pond or the neighbor's pond.
