While people in the country are clamouring over price rise, floods, shortage of drinking water, power, Agriculture loss due to unseasonal rains, drought, taxes on various commodities, petrol price hike, hike in the transportation charges, etc., the Government is thinking to increase the burden on the taxpayer. On one side, the Government is letting the politicians, big businessmen, and elite class scot free of tax evasion, it is thinking to ban cash transactions of more than 3 lakhs through Credit Cards, Checks,and drafts. The only excuse, it has got is to stop the circulation of black money. Will this proposal of the Government work out or lead to losing confidence in the very functioning of the Government of India ? Already many politicians in India came out successfully winning the Cases in the court against Disproportionate Assets.
