I am very discouraged by the lack of traffic on the MyLot this morning, but then I suppose the USA are still sleeping, the Aussies are of to sleep and its only the ones in the MIDDLE that can DIDDLE-DADDLE in the time consuming fun on posting writings.
I decided to give everyone that passed my way some Undivided Attention this morning as per my fist post of the week, but sadly there are just a handful . . . so where is everyone?
While reciprocating with everyone I have also been baking biscuits - Multi tasking is one of my good traits. Hundreds and Thousands all over the cookies (biscuits) and now ALL over the Floor - @LadyDuck will know what a task that is going to be to clean up!!! Oh why am I so OCD??
Anyway - how did the little colour sweets get their name?
Hundreds and Thousands or jimmies;
in Dutch hagelslag;
Indonesian meises;
or by words from my grandson "bietjie-bietjies" (little bits-little bits)
Who knows - if you like, leave your ideas

Oh dear, I am sorry you have such a painful floor cleanup. I have burned my waffles this morning, I wanted to prepare breakfast for everyone. So waffles for us, sunflower seeds for the birds to put outside and cat food for Willy. I stopped to cuddle Willy and the waffles were gone.

I could not see the photo here. Or maybe my internet is just slow. Women are so good in multitasking than men. I don't know why.

@Inlemay Some days are like that Not much people you can talk to. I have never come across such a ''nice'' photo of burnt cookies.

aw, they're so cute :) saddened that some hit the floor, findin' all those lil candies must've been a tad challengin' 'long with the crumbs.
i've been limitin' myself these days to bein' here. the end run 'f steroids makes me a tad snarky 'n my thought process with the barometric pressure changes aint much fun neither. 've a biscuit fer me, please :)

@Inlemay i reckon we're gonna need to get'cha one'f those video thingies that'cha can switch'n from 'nother room?? i bet 'tis a delight to watch 'em. i've'd birds fly 'nto here o'er the years. many get 'nto trouble, those ceilin' fans ya know. thankfully none've lost their lives from such encounters. did get one stuck'n some fly tape a few years back. that 'twas quite the ordeal settin' the lil thing free.

@crazyhorseladycx I have a ceiling fan as well but as it is winter they are not on - Luckily all the birds that have wondered into the house seeking some crumbs from the table have survived the cats and any other dangerous encounters

Too bad about those cookies and the mess as well. I think those little colored sweets are called sprinkles here.

I've been struggling to find people to talk to too but that is par for the course mostly during my afternoon/early evening. I have a heap of notifications each morning when I first log on. I sometimes wish I could stay up all night and 'talk' to people.

Well being in the UK thee is never a lot of traffic when I am awake. As for hundreds and thousands on the floor at least you are doing some home baking. I have no other name for them, but when I was smalk we used to get toy post office or sweetie shop at Christmas and it would always contain jars of sweets. The one with hundreds and thousands in would invariably end up all over the floor.
