Putting The Sewing Machine Away

I'm putting my sewing machine away for awhile and I'm going to work on some other things, or hand sewing.
Yesterday I gave a list of things I could work on. I don't think I worked on any of them. Instead I got my pillowcases of little scraps out and made 3 dog beds.
I then pulled out a lockerhook rug that I started some time ago. I sewed together what color fabric strips I had. I still need 8 more colors for enough to finish this rug.
Darn it! Tonight is our first night to bowl on the bowling league, after not bowling for years. I'm excited for the fun, but need to do so much on the computer before then.
I am out of having to pick children up from school and plan to get going on my traffic exchanges as soon as I do a little more here in mylot.
Lo and behold, my pregnant daughter needs a ride to her appointment this afternoon. Selfish me doesn't want to do it! Darn it again!
She is looking for another ride but when she lives 8 miles out that is not going to be easy.
I hope you all are having a good Tuesday.

@crazyhorseladycx The last machine I bought I paid $299 half price special for it at the state fair. I bought the walking foot, darning foot and quarter inch foot extra with it.
Now the walking foot stays on it almost always and that is all I use that machine for because even though I paid the most for it, it's the machine that I hate the most.
I still use the $60 machine hubby first bought me.
The other one the feed dogs broke on. It's still at my son's for repair....I got tired of waiting and bought the one in the picture instead.

@marsha32 hahaha my sister and her 4 kids live with my parents. The 13 yer old and 11 year old go to school full days. The 4 year old now goes to pre-k until noon so its just the 3 month old baby home at this point. I am sure my parents are enjoying a much quieter home for a few hours.

What a beautiful sewing machine, mine is broken right now. I was going to make skirts for the girls, guess not now. Hope hubby can take a look at it and get it going again before we start school. After that it will have to be next summer before I have any real free time.

So who is picking up the school kids. I am selfish. I just want to go to bed.

If that is your sewing machine... it looks awesome. I think that I will have to invest in a kids sewing machine to learn how to use it! I hope that you get everything on your list... a little bit done. lol... Sometimes to do lists work and sometimes they can be over powering!!

I'm in awe over so many comments on how nice my machine is. I really do like it and hope I can use it for years to come. I feel blessed that I was able to buy it on amazon for just $144.
