For a while this morning, I thought I would end up with no photos. I went to my normal hot spot, Edgewater Park, and it was void of life. This was actually quite surprising because we're entering migration season and I would think the park, with tall grass and ponds, would be a perfect resting spot for geese, etc. Fortunately, after walking across the park without taking one photo, I had much better luck on my way back to my car. This included this chipmunk, which I've been trying to get a photo of for the past couple weeks. It always seems to be in the same spot but doesn't stay still very long once it sees me. And, since it is heavily shaded, I can't get a good photo unless I'm closer. Otherwise, the only thing I get is darkness.
