I think I figured out the problem with race relations...

In full Disclosure, I apologize in advance, as you are about to read the ramblings of a mad man. i.e. Me! I apologize in advance...
I was listening to "Think" on NPR radio, as the issues of race relations nd racism were discussed. There was an African American mother and father explaining how they teach their kids how behave around authority figures like police officers and handle themselves in job interviews because a whit employer won't see them the same way they do white applicants. And in hearing how the kids have "white friend" they get along with, I came to a conclusion:"It's no wonder in 2016 ace rlations in certain sects of this God Forsaken nation, because people instill within their kids the same fear and paranioa they had when they were young. Instead of letting these kids interact with each other and come to their own conclusions." I've seen racial minorities and whites pull this crap. Little Taywan has to be sure to mindful and respectful around white folks so he can live a happy long life, and little Timmy has to be careful with what he says lest he offend black folks. Being respectful to authority figures and employers is one thing, but this being fearful around those on your level is inexcusable. Younger generations like mine and the ones to follow should be allowed to shape our own future and how we intract with our fellow man rather than be shackled down by the ignorance of the past.
But again, I'm not stupid, I get that this is how that portion of society was raised to keep this old and tired monotenous cycle going... At the very least should I have kids, I'll show them what society refuses to offer the rest of us. But if that happens they'll end up as lonely and crazy as me... Which might not be a good thing.

I grew up in a military town, and therefore got to interact with kids of all races. I highly recommend it. To each other, we were just kids. I think you are absolutely correct.

@teamfreak16 Idon't know what angers me more. The fact that you further proved my point of how far this world has come, or that situations like your's and mine get ignored just to continue this sad song and dance. Because I grew up in lower to middle class neighorhoods riddled with kids of multipleethnic backgrounds and cultures, and we got along fine.
But it's like I've already surmized, the people running this country grew up when racismwas prominent and non whites were treated like animals. They're set in their ways and that's all they know, so as a result the changes this world has undergone scares them. So they've established crap like political correctness to ppear to have kept up with the times while having us fight the same old fights instead of handling everything else wrong with this world!

Speaking of racism. The racism in my country's pop culture is severe. Look at the woman in the picture. She is a Filipino Supermodel of African American descent. She is able to book international modelling jobs in many countries. When she pursued Acting here, She got this comedy roles where men are disgusted of her because of her skin color. Meanwhile all the Halfwhite girls are getting all the lead roles even if they look generic.
She won a best supporting actress award yet she is still stuck with the "Ugly girl who disgust men" role in comedies.

@Hanyouyomi Until now I don't know why is she given unattractive comedy roles despite of her successful modelling career.
This one is the worst offender. There is this soap opera here with the objective to "fight racism" it is about a Half Filipino/Half Black girl who is discriminated for looks but she will rise above the odds and be successful. Instead of getting a half black girl to play the part, they got a half white girl and give her blackface make up. Just look at the thumbnail:

@CaptAlbertWhisker The other Phillipino and I don't talk much about your country. And after seeing this... I get why... Like what?! This is some baffling crap... It makes no logical sense... I---WHAT?!

@Hanyouyomi Surely you are joking. Concentration camps? Chips? Have you ever heard of Hitler? Do you have any inkling of what freedom is? Have you never heard of human dignity? Who has the right to do any of that to another human?
You should be tired. You are trying to carry the world on your shoulders.
