I´m cooking a stroganoff while mylotting.

There are many dishes that just need a little bit of patience to turn out well. Beef stroganoff is such a dish as I cook it with osso bucco.
After I fry the meat I have to cook it until tender and that takes a while. This is not something that I cook in my pressure cooker. I cook it in beef broth, add the caramelized onions and garlic and then when it´s tender. I add the rest of the ingredients. I have discovered that if I add the wine or the tomato pulp too early, the meat will not be as tender.
So, while my house fills with delicious smells, I mylot. Of course, it is difficult for me to talk about anything but what´s in the pot.

This Russian dish can be eaten with bread, Rice and even pasta. It is something you can eat with everything. heck there is even an icecream flavor of it.

restaurants here usually have beef stroganoff in their menu, catering companies also offer it when you inquire for company and family events like product launches, weddings, etc.
i like it but i don't remember any of my sisters cooking it here. one of them have cooked osso bucco a few times using the pressure cooker.
it was delicious, but the fat coagulates while you're eating or immediately after and it's a pain to wash the dishes, cutlery, and pots later. our faucets only have tap water.

You can heat some water to wash the dishes. I would not beable to wash dishes by hand in winter if the watwas cold.

I use to date a Russian exchange student and I remember her cooking this dish for me. I still remember her recipe and once in a while I still cook it.

I have always read or heard about stroganoff but never seen or eaten it. But the way you have mentioned it here makes me feel like it must a be an interesting dish. I love anything that has caramalized onions and garlic to it. A slightly burnt garlic makes everything look better.
