Not sure how it will go but I'm excited!

Last weekend, I FINALLY got the motivation to see a singing coach. I've been putting it off for so many years but decided I should be doing things that I want / need to do because one day I will regret not even trying.
I wanted to ask this woman if she thought I even sounded good and if it's even worth me trying to sing anymore.
Her name is Sarah and she is an awesome woman. I felt pretty comfortable with her straight away which is good. I was nervous but comfortable. She also had coaching from Susan Boyle's singing coach!
We did some scales and vocal warm ups together and she told me she was impressed with how high I can sing notes.
I didn't understand why at the time, but Sarah handed me a tall jug that had water and soap in it. She put a straw in the jug and told me to take a breath, then slowly blow into the water. As I was doing that, bubbles started to rise and was nearly reaching the top. When I finished she was impressed with that too. It was a fun trick she learned to test how much air one can hold when singing.
She got me to sing Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper. She told me she was impressed with that too! She also set up the microphone for me to sing into but she made me feel happy when she said that she didn't do that until she felt the person she was giving lessons to was more advanced in signing. So I got to do it first lesson!
After I sang the song again with the microphone, I looked at her and she had tears in her eyes. She said "I don't know what you were thinking about but I could actually feel the emotions coming out."
We did some more singing and basically I need to work on the breathing techniques. Which I have been practicing at home.
Now for the BEST part! I told her that I used to write a lot of songs and have always dreamed of putting them online ( hence my other discussion I did about trying to find a YouTube name ).
Sarah told me, that if I record myself singing my songs, she will get me to meet this producer, who will put music to it, master it, will let me pop them up on YouTube and MAYBE, give to a radio station. I say maybe because I just don't want to get my hopes up even though Sarah told me the chances were high. IF I can do that then I will start to get some royalties every time it's played. Which is another bonus.
It will cost me a bit of money to hire this producer but....I've spent way too much time, effort and money on people ( thinking of ex boyfriends right now ) who never appreciated it or appreciated me. It's MY turn to spend that time, effort and money on things I've been wanting to do.
Whether this is successful or not, at least I can always look back and say that I tried.

Wow, sounds like you are pursuing a dream so many millions of people around the world can only think of doing! Ultimately, whether you succeed or fail, you have taken that critical first step and actually did something about your singing passion! That is a dream come true right there, and something you can be proud of for the rest of your life!
So, when you become a rich and famous singer, are you going to remember little old me, and send me an autograph? lol

@moffittjc You're right. Just trying is worth it for me. Since I've been known to keep putting things off.
LOL and yes. I can do that for you. Fame and fortune would never get to my head that is makes me forget who I care about.

@JudyEv Yeah I am so happy to have met her. I haven't had a session in awhile due to me having a cold, bust with nail course and then being at the dentist. Couldn't even talk that day let alone sing lol
Thank you!

OH. MY. GOD !!! I mean I knew a little about meeting Sarah, the coach but not the details and Oh my God !!!!!!!!!!!!! That's fantastically awesome news Danielle !!!
I TOLD you that you have a very pleasant voice.
Oh boy! My friend is going to be a star. YAY !!! Hell you already are a star. You just don't see it the way we do. I want to say "Take that ******* / ***** " to some insignificant peeps.
But let me do the victory dance first because that's more important. *play the music*

THIS CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION !!!
BUT I will wait until the YouTube channel is up and running. You have your first recording. THEN I want a party. I don't care about the how, when, where of it. That's your job. But a treat is imminent.
P. S. Count me in as your first follower on that channel !
I can't slack on my stalker duties now, can I?

@VivaLaDani13 Pfftt... I don't care. It's happening at all is what is more important. Future is unpredictable anyway. Just keep working for it.
Even if nothing comes out of it, you still would be a star! *shakes my head* You have NO idea how you inspire me! (Um... no details to be disclosed
