Here I am resting my sprained ankle that I got from yoga so I cannot go around walking too much even if it is a holiday here. The doctor prescribed me some painkillers but other than that, I want my recovery to be much faster.
Any ideas on how to recover from a sprained ankle?

Well if you have already been to the doctor I don't think I can add too much..but probably staying off it and allowing it to heal is the best advice. It will probably take awhile. I haven't had a sprained ankle but I once pulled or stretched a tendon and that took a long time to heal.

Yes. I hope the resting would make it easier for me. It is just frustrating because I do want to walk normally again.

You have no choice but to rest and recover, there's no faster way than to just rest it first. When I was having knee and back pain from the uric acid, doc told me to let it subside before I start exercising again. Don't rush yourself, were you doing weight loss too? that reminds me not to do yoga @lealuvy2j
Take care of yourself
