The Venus and Jupiter conjunction

A rare close encounter happened on Aug 27 in the night. Two of the brightest planets in the system- Venus and Jupiter came as close half a degree in the night sky.. This event will next be seen in November 2065.
Who were fortunate enough to witness this astronomical event!?

Whenever something special happened in the sky like an eclipse or a meteor shower, My country is covered with clouds. It's like the monsoons wont leave us alone.
