Mom's accident

Philippines
August 29, 2016 9:54pm CST
Yesterday I told you about being home alone because they They were on their way home after having a nice meal at a restaurant. As mom passes through the pedestrian lane, a van was on it's way, she allowed it to pass first. But then as she thought the van passed already she felt a bump, loss her balance and fell slow. The van attempted to park, and must be near their van and hit her shoulder. Every one got hysterical that my brother started hitting the van with his fist. The driver panicked and apologized, gave them fifty bux to have answer her medical bills. Good thing she has her senior card, and the procedure got discounted, she was given pain medication, other than that she was fine. But grandma was very emotional that day. It could have been worse though.

Accidents do happen and we need to take extra care. Good thing that your mother is in good condition after the incident. There are times when we think we are safe, yet we realize we were not because of a sudden accident. I am praying that if I need to die, it will not be through an accident but that it might be while I'm doing God's work.

I think it happened when the van was attempting to park and doesn't realize she was on the other side and bump into her @ValueAdder her shoulder still hurts though. If it was a serious hit it could have been serious.

It sounds a nightmare. I am glad your Mum was not badly hurt. Paying for medical treatment is something I hope we never have to do here.

Hello @Jackalyn oh, I wouldn't want to have an accident anywhere. Sometimes drivers aren't that much careful these days.

I am so sorry to hear the accident your mom experienced yesterday. I hope that she will get better soon with the pain medication. We humans are really weak when facing with vechicles of any kinds. I hope that the driver will still pay for the medication fee that follows till your mom gets totally fine.
