Okay, no cracks like, "I didn't know you had a brain" or "I thought your head was empty"--just comment on anything below.
I am not a fan of Madonna--maybe I have seen 2 movies she was in--her infamous kiss--possibly heard a song or two but come on she is a survivor in a very rough business--why is the world pick on her a few years ago for adopting a baby?? She Idid doing everything legal--she took a child out of poverty and gave him a chance at life--she doesn't need the publicity--she has the money--she has 2 kids--why did the media 'attack' her? Am I missing something?
.Is there a correlation between gas and tomatoes??/ Weeks ago when gas prices were going up tomato prices were going down and now that gas prices are going down tomato prices are going up---$3.99 a pound today for what passes as a tomato today.
The older I get the harder the time I am having of remembering words--especially when working on a crossword puzzle!
Our school board fired our Superintendent of schools yesterday--the 6th largest school district in the nation--he had 8 months to go after serving 7 years--and they have to pay him the rest of the contract--why? Because 5 of the 9 school board members (one of whom wasn't re-elected last week but serves for another 2 weeks) because they don't like his personality. Yes he did make some mistakes but he made a lot of improvements like we don't have a single 'F' school in the district--now they have to pay him and the board will have to spend more money to find a replacement and no one is able to take the helm--it isn't like our school system has money to throw away!
I have been listening to the "A Chorus Line" cast album 24/7 since Gene sent it to me--one of the greatest numbers (in any musical) is Cassie's "The Music and The Mirror"--it is about a dancer--the director's ex who walked out on him--and now she is putting herself on the line for a job in the chorus--imagine the humiliation she feels having to beg for a job from her ex for a job she is great at and loves? It is a dynamite piece--even more amazing Cassie is alone on stage for 8 minutes and does a dazzling dance piece--whenever I hear it I cry and cheer and I want her to get the job. I have been watching this clip for 41 years and just as I saw it the first time on stage I want to shout WOW!!!
Now I have something important to do--decide what movie I will see tomorrow--hey, it's Friday--my movie day--probably the tearjerker "The Light Between Oceans"--I am a sucker for tearjerkers!!! LOL
Amazing what gathers in the mind! No wonder I can't remember words!

@GreatMartin I am so sorry to hear that. When they show the trailer on TV, I think they always show either the best part or show it out of context so that the viewers will be interested.

The older you get the more crowded your brain gets--it needs a cleaning out at least once a month!!!

I've been racking my brain to find a correlation between gas and tomatoes. Nope, can't come up with a thing. Good mix of topics!
