Marvel Comics – 2009 – spoiler alerts
Had I not been aware of the movie version of Deadpool, seeing this as the first comic I encountered to happen to feature him would have been very disappointing indeed. It turns Deadpool into a raving lunatic cross between The Mask and Tank Girl, without the charm or charisma of either.
Having turned pirate, Deadpool has crashed and sunk a stolen nuclear submarine and now terrorizes the South Seas from a tug-boat, piloted by his blind girlfriend, while his reluctant sidekick is forced to dress as a parrot. The rather contrived trio take on a rival, real pirate, who is eventually unfeasibly nuked with a missile from the sunken submarine. Somehow the heroes survive the blast and radiation despite close proximity to it.
Terribly forced surreal stab at anarchic comedy that just ends up trying too hard for weird.

I have a lot of Deadpool comics but I don't remember having this issue. Deadpool being a pirate sounds like a cool idea. I noticed that DC is trying to use Harley to rival Deadpool, She have similar adventures with him these days.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Harley's outfits vary from jester's costumes to skimpy cheer-leader outfits - Deadpool's costume is quite static
