Hello everybody. I am finally back. It seems like I have been gone forever. For those who didn't know I was gone or why I was gone, I'll let you know. A week ago this past Thursday I had thyroid surgery. Yes folks, they pulled everything they could out of my neck and still leave me living. Actually the surgeon was wonderful. She did a terrific job. It was and still is very painful but it is done and I am slowly recovering. I am raring to go, to write, and comment, and so forth here on MyLot. See the picture of my little frog carrying books, papers and so forth? Well, that's me ready, willing, and as able as I can be to get busy on here again. I feel like I have missed so much so please bear with me while I find my way back to what's been going on. It may take me a while cause the spirit's willing but the body is not quite able yet.

@Hatley When will you be going for surgery/ My doctor told me today it will most likely take about 7 months before I feel really good. Looking forward to it.

I was thinking of you on your operation day Susan, and was a bit worried that you hadn't posted anything after a few days. Glad to hear that you are ok, though I'm sorry that you are in pain. The image you found is great

@HazySue I make mental notes of when any of my friends are having ops or something significant on a particular date. Then I wait hopefully for an update. I'm sorry it's been so difficult for you, I hope you progress well from now on.

@jaboUK to tell the truth I was feeling so bad I did nothing by lay around. I had no idea it would be so draining and painful. How sweet of you to be thinking of me on that particular day.

Take it east and don't overdo it! Glad you are back and it went well. It does sound like it could be a painful recovery. I love the frog in the picture! I feel like that all the time.

@paigea I will take my time. It is painful. As I said the spirit is willing but the body really isn't quite ready to sprint.

@cmoneyspinner cheery, yes, energetic, that may take a while. I am not one to wallow. Besides, I have some pretty good pain pill that make me happy for short periods of time.

@marlina thank you. I am trying to develop the hands off attitude. - if I start feeling there is something I have to or need to do I put it on a "hands off" list.

@HazySue That is often the way isn't it? Several people here have been very concerned about cataract operations but the wait was worse than the procedure.

Oh, my goodness. Welcome back ! I have not been on as much as I would have liked do to work and tiredness, so I didn't know you had had surgery. I'm glad you're back and that things went well. Your little frog reminds me of how busy I feel that I've been lately. I haven't even had the chance (or felt like it because I was tired) to do anything in my shop(s), be they Etsy or ArtYah or whatever.

@xstitcher I love the Pixabay images with the little frogs, they are so whimsical and cute. I have seen from your post that you are quite busy. I looked at your profile for your ArtYah shop and didn't see it there. Put it on people love to see your work.
