I'm Still Trying to Find the Correct Screen Resolution

Last week when I was trying to use the print screen function to save my spreadsheet to an image for use here I changed the screen resolution at Barry's suggestion. I made my screen the largest it could be in the hopes that was the answer to getting a larger shot of my page, but it didn't help at all. Luckily I made a note in my post of what size I had at first, which worked well for me with my monitor, and then what I changed it to. Unfortunately, when I tried to put the resolution back to what it started at, that option was no longer available in the control panel. I've since changed it three to four times and I need to try to change it again. I have yet to find anything close to where I was before. Everything is still too large. As you can almost see in the image the top mylot info bar is cut down in size. The problem with resizing my resolution is that I need to reboot my computer each time I make the changes. I can't tell right away how it is until I open the browser or other applications. It should be easier than this is turning out to be. And, if anyone is wondering, I'm still using Windows 7. Update: After reading JJ's suggestions, I remembered that I did change the size of the display. I changed that back to medium and did find my the resolution I was using before. Then, since that was a bit small, I changed my browser zoom for a bit more magnification. Enough that I could read it better but not so much that it blocked my current amount from view. If I ever change things again, I'll have to remember to take better notes of all the changes I make.

I'm glad I know now not to mess with that. Hope you're able to get it back the way you liked it.

You may need to change it one day for one reason or another, but it would be a good idea to jot down some notes of what it's at so you can remember if you tend to forget such things. I did find it finally once I read Jake's idea. I realized later I did change some other aspects too.

@MarshaMusselman I should be okay. I've got kids who can sort it out.

Yes, I've spent several hours off and on messing with the settings on the control panel.

No matter how "simple" they think they've made computers for us, there are still problems that we run into that stump us! I'm so glad you got it figured out!
