I can't win...

I got my money today to pay my rent, from two sources, via PayPal. However, I could not find anyone I trusted where I could send them the money, so they could send it to me via Walmart MoneyGram today, so I could pay on time. Now I will owe an extra $100, which I don't have... I don't even have gas money. So will still be evicted. I just can't win. Sigh...

I would agree that $100 late fee is outrageous. If that's the late fee I don't think I want to know how much the rent is.

It is $627, which includes water, sewage, trash pick-up, and pest control. That is why that percentage is way too high. Plus I had to pay a non-refundable $300 move in fee, and they did nothing to help me move in.

I guess people are not understanding my post. I needed the money today, so I would not have to pay a $100 late fee. I will eventually get the money, but it takes 5 days, and now that I owe the extra $100, and I don't have it, I could get evicted for not paying the late fee too.

I am so sorry to hear this. Can you not explain things to your landlord? They sound really strict. I am glad I have such an understanding landlord. $100 late fee is a bit extreme. I hope everything works out for you.

The fee is extreme and I told them that... This place is really run down, I use to live in high-end apartments that did not have fees like this... Highway robbery.
