Do you panic when you wake up late?

When I was still working in my previous jobs, I usually panic if I woke up late. Perhaps I was tired of doing routine activities at work and wasn’t able to sleep early at night. It can also be the alarm clock didn’t work at that particular time. I had been so punctual at work and never wanted to be late. That’s the reason why I usually panic in times like this. How about you? Do you have this kind of panic attack?

If it is a wroking day, I would panic. Even a 5 minutes delay is enough to throw me out of the track for the rest of the day. Morning is jam packed and busiest time of the day. Every single minute matters.

@arunima25 I guess I need to enjoy my singlehood for now.
I think I will be in your situation if I have my own family in the future.

@Shavkat Good for you!! Even if i work from home, I would panic as I would not be able to pack lunch for my daughters/husband on time and they might miss their school bus.

I'm a late riser, and try to be early. Once I start working I'm almost positive I can wake up at the right time. On examination days when I wake up even half an hour late, I feel jittery and panic a lot. Even though the exam's probably at 11 AM.

@ria1606roy I guess being late at school is fine for me during my college days. I humbly say that I am one of the bright students during that time.

@Shavkat haha
I haven't been late to a class or exam either, but once I reached just at the right time when the bell rang with the exam starting, and it was scary.

I have never woke up late. I always wake up before my alarm clock goes off. I have been doing the same routine for so many years now that I think my body is adjusted to it. I wake up at those times on the weekends even though I always plan to sleep in. It just never happens.

I don't like the feeling of waking up and realizing that I have over slept. It doesn't happen anymore, but when I was younger it happened all the time, I wasn't a morning person until about 7 or 8 years ago. Now I wake up and if its before the alarm my first reaction is that I slept through it and I'm late. It's a terrible feeling and can throw off your whole day.

Yes, I know the feeling though I woke up late maybe once a year or once in two years.
I always set my alarm an hour before I need to go to work.
Even if I do not always wake up on time, I will be just 10 minutes later.
It is very rarely that I will wake up late enough to reach the office late.
