What are the odds?

When I met my husband he was a widower, I was divorced. I knew where he lived, it was a street I went down many times during the week. That was all I knew until we talked for hours and hours and began to learn about each other and our past lives.
He was married the first time in 1965 and had a Polish Band at the reception. My first marriage was to a Polish guy whose three uncles were in a Polish Band.
Yes, my first husband's uncles' band was the same band that play at my current husband's first wedding.
And....my current husband worked with one of my former husband's uncles for several years, many years ago.
What are the odds?

@AbbyGreenhill Ah, that's nice! We didn't elope, but we only had close family and friends at our island hotel balcony ceremony - then having dinner at a restaurant afterwards!

We eloped - we had a few family members (my side) and ate at a restaurant, no bands, just good food.

Wow, that is such a neat story! I can see God's hand in it and how He brought you two together.

@AbbyGreenhill That is nice when a mutual friend brings two people together. That is what happened with my parents. They have told me their story many times and I always think, "if it were not for their mutual friend bringing them together, my Sister and I would not have been born".

Seems to me the universe had it all worked out for you. Truth can be stranger than fiction. Imagine if you made your life into the plot of a book, many would say - "That's too far-fetched. No one would believe it." Hope you and your husband are very happy
