Wuzzit Challenge Number Two -
Well now, some of us Mill Otters had a wee bit of fun with the first of the Wuzzit Challenges the other day. The goofy picture that I messed up so prettily was of the back end of a fat bumblebee. I was really made both happy and quite impressed by the number of Mill Otters who figured out right away that the image was what it was - the south end of a bumblebee heading north. Good work, Troops.
Now we have another one to puzzle over.
This one is a photograph I made of something not alive when its picture was taken. Indeed I really do not believe it ever drew a breath of air or ate a blade of grass at any time it was hanging around us "human beans" or "human beams" or whatever it may have stuck itself on, through, into, or never - depending on who may have owned it, stolen it, found it laying around the place on the ground or even on a rooftop.
When you get the straight of it, make your guess. It is not going to be easy, but if you have great determination, enough so as to be able to hammer away at the identification problem until you straighten out your thinking as to what this thing is ("wuzzit" ) you will come up with the right answer.
Bye the bye - If any Mill Otter has a suggestion as to how to make these "Wuzzits" a bit more fun, I'd really enjoy seeing what your thinking is on the matter. For instance, would it be best to put up several possibly correct answers to the "wuzzit" of things from which Mill Otters can choose the correct answer? Maybe that might be better than having to guess something from out in the cold without any hint at all (other than the scant hints that I put into the texts of these challenges. Let me know.

@ms1864 - Ms Manisha - Deformation is almost a way of life in the nailing business. You and I would become deformed were we to be hit on our heads time after time while being driven into a place where we could no longer move the brighter parts of our bodies. Pity the poor nail. What a sorry life it leads while all it is doing is to try to help us Mill Otters.

@ms1864 - Ms Manisha - I understand both your first comment and this comment. It was just that I had a moment to reflect on the beatings we provide to nails and, also to each other. Gotta go get another bowl of Cheerios and sliced bananas and all will be put to right once again...

@rebelann - That was a nifty guess, although it was not correct. Deformed yes. Bottle no. Take your second guess from the list I gave to ARM (above this comment) and see how you do. Now then, YOU are good with a camera, so let us have some "wuzzit challenges from you, too, -- OK?

@rebelann - Get yourself a copy of the open-source photo editor program, "GimPhoto" (you can D/L it from SourceForge.net) and, using its "filters" and other resources, mess up any photo in the world - even kitties and landscapes. Wuzzits are fun to do. -Gus-

@jaboUK - Ms Janet - And, just to think - many of these youngsters believe that we fully-ripened ones can't see straight. That's something to think about, isn't it? AND, the next time I need a good "Wuzzit" hint, be certain that I know to whom I should go for it.

@responsiveme - Friend ARM - Not frog legs. That was actually a good guess, even though it was animate, which this wuzzit is not. Here are some choices, one of which is the correct answer.;;
rhinocerous toenail
apple worm
dynamite fuse
roofing nail
embarassing nose hair
Take your choice.

@responsiveme - Friend ARM - Would Gus want to keep you waiting to find out if you are right or wrong with your guess? Never happen. Yes, you have the answer and I have to admire your guessing prowess. -Gus-
