Slept from 5p. or so until 2a. Weird hours. Today is the anniversary of 9/11. Horrible happening and my heart goes out to the families and the people who helped with the clean up afterwards. I was home that day and it was so confusing and I was so full of disbelief. Couldn't figure out what in the world had happened. The story about the missing flag is on right now. Got notification that housing will be doing a radon test in some of the apartments. If we are chosen they ask us to leave the doors and windows closed for 12 hours. Finally! I was ordered something on Walmart.com and it has taken me about a half an hour. Waiting for each page to load. Trying to utilize what I had left in my gift card. Finally it finalized the order. Geesh! Not sure if it was my computer or their site. Seems like I have these type of problems early in the morning alot. Will be eating tillapia today with a baked potato perhaps. The lady who was in the famous Time Square kiss died. It was taken August, 24, 1945 and she was 21 then and going to dental school to be an assistant. Kissed by George Mendosa, a sailor. She would be 92. She was buried in Arlington Cemetery next to her husband, Dr. Misha Friedman.

I didn't watch anything on the 9/11 anniversary yesterday. It is ever close in my memory of the worst event to happen in my lifetime. I wrote a poem for the first anniversary and might have shared it here, or at least on the other site. I found out when I went to work as I didn't have the television on that morning. I was busy working on a book at the time. I was in total shock when I got to work and found out about it. Somehow I didn't know that picture was real. She lived to be a good old age. I'm glad you got your Wal-Mart order taken care of.

I still find it hard to watch stuff about it. But, I feel I am doing my part at least by watching those who survived tell their stories. I always feel so helpless when things like this happen.

@celticeagle I don't know if I've ever had it in a restaurant. It should be better than a restaurant if you have it at home.

The pastor, of course, mentioned the anniversary of 911 in her sermon. I was reminded of the anniversary on the news. It's hard to believe that it's already been 15 years ago!
