Ahhh Politics!

I admit I'm pretty much being quiet about them all these days, at least not commenting on them. I already sent off for my mail in ballot as I know who I am voting for. No, I won't tell who that is. I am paying attention to what's going on and to be honest I think both (and more) sides need to stop the name calling. I mean the voters in this case. Have respect for the rights of others to disagree with your choice of candidate. Stop calling the other side names like "stupid, unintelligent, whatever fake phobia", etc. It's just childish. And for the love of honesty, quit ignoring the bad side of your own candidate-no one's perfect!

I'm glad I'm not a US citizen as I'd not too much like either candidate. It's a shame a true independent has no chance of winning as that's what is needed, in my opinion, to shake established parties out of their assumed superiority.

I don't think we've had worthy candidates here for a very very long time.

@irishidid They always say the people who get into politics are the very sort who shouldn't be in politics Don't know who "they" are but I think they're right

I haven't decided if I'll vote yet. I just don't feel comfortable with the choices this time. I do agree 100% with you about the name calling. This has been a really nasty election process and I can't wait until it's over.

Exactly. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing just not what's going on these days!
