Behind closed doors.

I have my Thursday and Friday duty in the obstetric-gynecology ward with level 2 nursing students. Another clinical instructor also has her duty with level 3 nursing students, both in the same college of nursing. Ms. DLM is a colleague but she is younger than me.
Ms. DLM has an attitude of being discourteous. She really has an ATTITUDE. her evaluation has the lowest mark in the college of nursing where we are both employed. And yet, she has that attitude.
The supervisor of the OB ward talked to me behind closed doors yesterday. She asked me if my colleague has a problem with the staff nurses, because she arrives and leaves the ward without greeting them, even the supervisor. She compared me and my students with her and her students as well. I noticed that too; they just leave the ward during lunch time and they leave without asking permission or not being courteous at all.
The nurse supervisor wanted me to tell my colleague about her attitude, but I did not do so this noon because I was not ready to tell her, or in other words, I am ashamed to tell her.
I know her way of thinking; she might think that I am 'lifting my way up' to gain more positive evaluation from her, but that is not my main reason.
If you are me, should you tell your colleague about her attitude? Her bad comments reflect the entire clinical instructors of our school. A rotten apple infects the other good apples.

but the thing is, the other staff nurses might think we are all the same.

@salonga i think so too, but the problem lies with how this colleague of mine manifests to others how disrespectful she is, and others might generalize it.

true, and it should not be me. although i am the most 'seasoned' CI, i don';t think i am the one who should tell Ms. DLM about that.

she tells us about how happy her family is, and we just keep silent when she says so.

i believe so too. i and Ms. DLM are both CI's and our clinical coordinator is also having her duty in the same ward but on PM shift. i did not tell our CC because i hoped the supervisor should tell her about my colleague's behavior.
