Don't start me about my friends supervisor

My friend was working 120-140 hours a fortnight to help his supervisor cover shifts and hardly getting any sleep while he had 1 worker on annual leave. The worker is coming back next week and now my friend Is going back doing 72 hours a fortnight without any public holidays and the casual/part time worker who is coming back from his annual leave is getting all the shifts he wants with all the public holidays. Don't know why, he thinks it's fair, we suggested a roster to him and of course he didn't approve.

The point of the discussion was that the full time worker isn't getting treated fairly as where the casual is getting whatever hours he wants and works on the days he wants.

@arthurchappell exactly in some way you can look at it by giving your casuals the crumbs

@IlijaMarkovski it is often the other way round where agency and casual staff end up underpaid and get the brunt of the work

Maybe your friend want to make money by working many hours including holidays. Some people think working like this they can get a promotion or raise.

I don't think anyone will be getting a promotion if the company can't keep the contract.

@IlijaMarkovski Maybe the boss is showing favoritism or envy.
