This has got to be the best most awesome throwback I have discovered to date! It's not Thursday when people usually share stuff for “throwback Thursday”, but this link is a can't wait! must share!
Bruce Lee and Batman fans UNITE!!
Do you remember the time when Bruce Lee (as Kato) and Batman, these two crime-fighting heroes, appeared onscreen together?

Before 'Enter the Dragon,' enter the Green Hornet — and his trusty sidekick, Kato (played by Bruce Lee).

I had a terrible crush on Van Williams (who played the Green Hornet) when I was younger. Van and Bruce Lee were on three episodes of Batman: they made a "window cameo" when Batman and Robin were climbing the wall in one of the episodes, and then they were the "visiting guest heroes" in the two-part "A Piece of the Action"/"Batman's Satisfaction." In that episode there was an inside "casting" joke: Diane McBain played Pinky, and she had originally played with Van on Surfside 6.

Those TV shows were so corny when you look back at them. But I watched them faithfully. The guy who played Green Hornet was definitely a hottie!

@cmoneyspinner -- you should've seen him on Surfside 6 running around without a shirt on all the time. Oooh!

Yes I remember Batman and the Green hornet, watched those series often when I was a kid. I also remember when the pairs teamed up but my memories of the story or the plot is now rather vague.

Always liked it when actors from one popular show would appear with actors in another popular show! Somehow it made them seem "real".

I not only remember it but I loved it. I loved radio shows and comic books. Did you know that the Green Hornet was created to create an "up to date" version of the Lone Ranger? The idea was that Ried was a decedent of Reid - the Lone Ranger.

Like many American kids from my generation, we grew up reading the comic books which were so exciting. Then to see our favorite comic book heroes come to life on the television screen? Oh my! When we (my siblings and me) heard about “Green Hornet” and the fact that Bruce Lee was going to be in the show, we were glued to our TV set!!
