My first half hour walk.

Honestly, I did not want to go. I am alone at home and had half decided that I wouldn´t even take a shower. I´d be alone in my PJs. And very confortable, because finally the weather is perfect. And then my daughter called me and asked me what had the doctor said. I told her about the walk, about maybe buying one of those walkers to exercise while watching TV. She said I would not use them And so I checked the price online and they are VERY expensive. Ok! To the shower! What do I need from the minimarket? I bought some mineral water, some frozen corn and a couple of lemons. The walk was over half an hour. It seems that I will have to think up what to buy tomorrow there. Now, for a sip of water. I cam back very thirsty.

Good for you. I'm sure it won't be hard to find something at the market tomorrow. Does it take you half an hour to walk there?

I personally would prefer to walk "going somewhere" instead of using the machine . . . I just know I would eventually get tired of the machine (but that's me). Plus like you said some of them can be expensive. At least walking outdoors is for free!! Going to the market is a great idea!

I´ll try to walk as much as I can. And I will have to tell my feet to stop being so annoying

@marguicha Does it help at all to massage them before you take a walk? And after?

I would rather walk and enjoy the air of what is left of Summer.I hate the treadmill. You are better to walk out door and enjoy the wonderful world of nature.

The only problem is that my feet hurt. I don´t know yet if this will go away. And if you take a walk, you cannot run back to your bed.

My cardiologist says that walking is the best exercise for you.

You might be able to find a used treadmill at a thrift store or something for cheap. My dad had one for years. No fancy gadgets or anything, but it worked. Anyway, it sounds like your walk to the market is nice right now, while the weather is good. Good for you!

Spring is starting here. I´ll give it a try at walking to the minimarket. It takes exactly the amount of time I need to walk.
