Alexa is dropping

Hello friends, I am working very hard on my both sites. I am doing directory submissions, forum postings, social book marking. I also changed some of images of my website and also in other site whole new section is created ...I am also working on page of new website. I am also promoting my website on different social medias like facebook, twitter, google+, pinterest, tumbler and started getting new follower as well...but still alexa rank of my both site is continuously dropping.....I don't know what I am not doing?? Please help me out if you have any website...
