Murkier side of content writing

Content writing or freelance writing is not an easy job in India. Well! I do not know what's happening abroad. A number of websites and companies outsourcing freelance content writing jobs just cheat the writers in the name of approval. They get their content written by writers and then either just keep quiet or just find out some flaws and deprive you of your payment.
A week ago a company named 'Edrubric Infosolution Pvt. Ltd' entrusted me some with the freelance development of class 8 science multiple choice question(MCQ).
After developing the content in the first round the reviewer(inexperienced-a fresher, just out of college) wanted me to change the question. She didn't want questions one definition but indirect questions and just 5 questions on the chapter. When I did so she rang up and said that my work was not up to their criteria/ standard. She always expressed her views over the phone and never send a mail even though I insisted.The company has used her just to cheat me of my dues. I have been in this in this line since 2009 and worked with well-known companies who had accepted my work and paid me well. These things happened with a number of times.
Don't you think such companies and websites should be brought to book or closed down?

I feel it's the clients that are unscrupulous. Only one site, iWriters seems like a scam to me. However, others said they did well there.

It's the cyber crime cell of each city that has to be active and keep a hawks eye to bring them to book.

This is the world we work in online and we must play hardball, too. I have had a few experiences like this. Basically, Content is King but no one wants to pay for it.
I see jobs all the time want quality, professional article about subject, no spin, will run Copyscape, etc -1000 words for $4.00. Really?
I did dispute one rejection and recovered the fee. Support tried to tell me that there was no way the client could use my work. They can only open/copy the document after they pay.
I said: Screenshot. End of conversation.
I knew I did a decent job - it was just a fitness book review. The client took almost 2 weeks to reject it. Seriously?

This is really disheartening. We need some kind of solution for the fake rejection that is just a trick to cheat us of our dues.

Why do they close down their business.? They living by cheating others only.It is only others and the writers who should close their projects.

But we are deprived of our payment. We need a handle to stop this.
