My Strange Eating Habits

Some of my eating habits probably surprise and even disgust a few people.
I often eat bread dry, with no butter, jam or anything else added.
I often eat breakfast cereals dry straight from the packet, cornflakes or crispies – not brans or porridge.
I sometimes eat tinned foods cold right from the tin with a spoon, including baked beans, rice puddings and macaroni cheese.
I sometimes eat tinned sardines or tuna fish or pilchards right from the tin too.
Food habits I hate include slurping from spoons and dunking biscuits, cakes or donuts in hot beverages or milk – yeuch!

Note to self : Don't invite Arthur for a dinner party . I could just leave a couple of tins by the back door!

Many children in Japan eat dry cereal as a snack food.

To each his own!
I eat straight from the tin as well! Can't say that I eat fresh but it is close enough!

i love bread and can eat bread in all kinds of ways - dry, toasted, with butter, jam, etc.
i like the ends and the toasted or slightly burnt parts. i know others avoid it or even peel it.

I nibble dry cereal straight from the pack too, but I don't do the other things you mention. in fact, the smell of cold canned foods makes me feel nauseous. I actually have a bit of a phobia about baked beans. Strange, because I liked other beans in casseroles, it's just something about the tinned bake bean, all the slimy sauce. If anyone eats them in my house they have to immediately wash the plate and pan because I just can't bear to handle it. If someone eats baked beans in front of me I feel uncomfortable, so if someone ate them cold out of the tin in front of me I think I would have to leave the room! Funnily enough I DO dunk biscuits in hot drinks though.

I have done some of the same things. I do not want soup unheated but tuna or salmon is good. Baked beans are not too bad. I like cereal dry as a snack. Really good bread is delicious plain.

That's just fine, to each his own, so long as it's in your home, you bought the food then I see nothing wrong, but just do it at home

@sol_cee slurping is just fine with most Asians especially when eating bowls of noodles with chopsticks, sometimes it's even done with one leg raised on the chair lol, it a good sign of contentment

I eat tuna and rice pudding from the tin too (obviously not at the same time). I once tried eating cornflakes with water to see if it was a way to save on milk. Very hard to digest. Around Christmas time I often wonder what a sprout sandwich would be like but I have never tried it.

I dont think I could eat some things cold, but those things are ones that dont bother me tons. Still too many carbs in most of those foods for me, I'd become round and sleep all of the time lol

I like butter on bread.
I eat some foods from the tin cold such as tuna and hot dog sausages but baked beans were made to be hot
I hate noisy eaters and slurpy drinkers...puts me entirely off my food
