Woke up about 5:30a. and I think I went to bed around 10p. Not bad. Those smoke detectors that maintenance took out of the apartments yesterday(we got upgrades with batteries that last for ten years) went into to the garbage here. Last night and this morning we have been hearing them going off continually. Why didn't they take the batteries out? Ugh! I wonder how long they will go on? Trash guys don't come until next Thursday. It is driving Cami nutsy and she is go out and take the batteries out. Rained off and on yesterday. The Pioneer fire is 63% contained and has burned nearly 200,000 acres. Josh made it out to the bus every morning this week. Very proud of him. Hope he continues this way. Watching MSNBC about the video and killing of this man with a TBI. Ugh! Peace officers or Police killers?

yeah I would have gone out and popped the batteries out myself, might even save the batteries, some might still be useful

Hard to tell if they are. Yeah, Cami went out and took them out. They were driving her buggy. I just kept hearing them and wondering what it was.

It does make you wonder why they didn't take the batteries out before they threw them out. Did Cami take the batteries out? Is it finally quiet? That would drive me nutso too. I'm very happy to hear Josh made it to the bus every morning. I'm sure the police had something to do with that. I hope they can get 100% containment on the fire soon. It's been burning for a long time. I don't know what's gotten into the mindset of people today to go around shooting, protesting and doing anything they can to cause mayhem.
