Dieting is a pain. But even though it’s a pain, it’s incredibly common among many people. They say that dieting can reduce fat in your body and make you slim. If you haven’t tried dieting, most of your friends probably have. So what do you think, Is Dieting Healthy or Unhealthy?

It depends on how you diet. If you want to make yourself thinner and then you don't eat much, then it is harmful. On the contrary, you don't eat extra food and this is a good way. Here we believe if you just eat 70% before you get full, then it is very good for the health.

@amandajay You know sometimes people can't control themselves when they see delicious dishes. They are too full after eating a lot of food and it is harmful for the health.

Dieting doesn't work. Yea, you will lose a few pounds but it is normally just water weight and once you stop the diet it normally comes back. If you want to lose weight and be healthy then you need to make a lifestyle change. I have taken many nutrition classes and the only way to successfully lose weight and keep it off (without surgeries) is a healthy balanced diet and exercise. That means lots of variety in the foods we eat, correct portion sizes, no sodas, no excessive sweets, no processed foods, etc. You can workout as much as you want but you can't out run a bad diet. Just making small changes like cutting sodas out or stop eating processed foods, or fried foods you can lose a lot. Those diets that tell people to cut carbs out or to cut things out are also not good for us either. You should never cut things out of your diet because we need ALL of them to live a balanced life. Moderation is key.
