I am really puzzled lately. I am not sure if what’s really the proper way to address co-workers in the company. In the movie, western countries commonly address their co-workers with the first name. As for me, I used to call them with salutation followed by their last name. Now the question is, what's the polite forms of address? Image Credit: pixabay.com

I think Filipinos are used to say sir or ma'am.

Here most of the time we call our colleagues' first names. We usually add "Mr. or Ms." when we address the clients.

@youless Yes. Because I am in a higher position. Perhaps I am also a foreigner. It is a sign of respect.

My workers address each other by name only and sometimes words like " bro"

I guess it is fine to address informal salutation.

I felt uncomfortable saying first name. Unless, if they are close to me. However, I addressed people with salutation before his or her first name.

depends on the culture of the place . I use both types of address for younger ones and friends call them by name but otherwise salutations.

I do agree on that. It depends on the situation.

It depends on how they wanted to be called. First time meetings I just address them with Sir or Ma'am.
