I have my father's teeth

Seriously, I have his teeth - no, not like you are thinking....let me explain.
My father's teeth were slightly yellow-ish and so are mine.
My father's two bottom (front) teeth overlapped each other and so do mine.
Therefore, I have his teeth. My last dentist visit the hygienist asked if my teeth had gotten more yellow. I guess so I said. She recommended Colgate Optic White toothpaste. I stopped at the store that day and bought a tube. I have used it faithfully at least twice a day and I have noticed an improvement.
My teeth will never be white-white but they certainly are less-yellow and I'm sure the hygienist will notice it at my appointment next month.

mine have been like that since I was a teenager, and even then I brushed twice a day. Also back then I never drank sodas or iced tea or coffee! I learned to like soda and tea in college.

My teeth were never stark white, I don't think everyone starts out with pure white.also, medicine that you might have taken at a young age can stain them.

@AbbyGreenhill perhaps that is what it was, I just know they seemed to yellow very young, I remember mom offering me baking soda to brush with at the first house, so had to be under 7th grade

So your mouths are/were similar.? I see some actors on TV with almost neon white teeth and it looks weird to me. Hope everyone is happy at your next hygienist's visit.

Yes, if you say my smile and my father's smile you would see the teeth are identical. I also have his coloring and his disposition and some of his gardening and financial talents LOL

It's cheaper than using those bleaching things that cost more and probably don't work any better.

My sister and one of my sons had really crooked teeth and they had to have braces. My second son doesn't have crooked teeth. Thank goodness he didn't need braces.

@AbbyGreenhill

I love the twist on phrases that you are using for your titles. Oh course, I thought you had his dentures and wondered why in the world you would want them. My teeth have a slight yellow cast to them also.
