Help, my e-mail has been taken over by aliens....

....or maybe by the Russians
When I get to the computer in the morning first thing I do is check email. When I did that this morning I truly thought I did something wrong, and we all know I'm never wrong LOL. I tried to 'fix' the screen back to the way it should look but to no avail.
So I did what I usually do in that type of situation - I did a system restore. Once that was done and I went back into e-mail it still looked different. I came to the conclusion that Outlook made some updates. It is too bad that when they do things like that they don't have the decency to put out an e-mail of their own stating that changes are coming. I would bet dollars to donuts that I wasn't the only one confused this morning.
Now that I've had some time to adjust - it's fine - different but fine. All is well in e-mail land and the aliens are back on their own planet - wherever that is.

@AbbyGreenhill Yes, you can but you have to manage this through the Group Policy, it's not something quick and easy to do.

I don't think there is a way to turn it off...it just is what it is.

Glad things are back to some semblance of normal. I'd like to have a notification too when they make changes. I guess it is a take it or leave it situation.

Now that I"ve used it for a day or so its actually better, has some new features I like a lot. But my issue right now is how it is on my tablet - it doesn't 'look' the same as on the computer...so it will take some juggling to get it 'fixed'.

Outlook did recently changed the format of how I read e-mails. At first I didn't like it, but now it doesn't really bother me.

I don't mind change, but tell me it's going to change so I won't think my computer went crazy. I did a system restore which of course didn't help, but that undid all the Windows update I had installed now have to reinstall them.

@AbbyGreenhill I'm with you, I don't like changes like that. It takes me too long to adjust.

that's what I was wondering, why would aliens take over your email. I hear they are telepathic and don't need any sort of email or other communication stuff
