Answering Responses
I do my best to answer every comment or response I receive, but I’m finding it difficult to figure out when I have a NEW comment. I look at the notifications, and then I click on the ones that say that someone commented.
Sometimes I have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the responses to find one that I haven’t answered. I also pay attention to the emails I received but unless I write down every message on a piece of paper, I can’t use that method either.
Is there a way to know EXACTLY which responses are NEW? How do you keep up with the comments?
I wish the new comments were in a separate place, instead of mixed in with the older comments that I have to sort through.
I understand that if the “like” is there, that I probably haven’t commented on the response, but sometimes is takes a lot of time to sort through all the notifications.
Tell me what you do?

I didn't know you could delete them and still get credit for them. I didn't even know you could delete at all, really. But, I do see that there is that option now that you mention it. Is that what you do?

I have a problem with the new ones sinking to the bottom of the page, also. A lot of my new notifications are ones I already answered. Sometimes, I have to read every post in my discussion to figure it all out. Then a lot of posts are hidden and I have to make sure I uncover them all. I hope I don't miss anyone. Sometimes, I can't figure out what we are talking about.

@IreneVincent I try to do that. I am sure I miss some. It gets confusing sometimes.

It is very confusing to me sometimes and I spend a lot of time searching for comments that I don't want to miss. I think it's very important to respond to every comment.

That's true enough. Especially when someone picks up one of my OLD posts under "You May Also Like" column.

Sometimes when you get a few responses at around the same time it'll only take you to one.
You need to hunt out the rest.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to notify us about responses individually sometimes.

That's right. I go to Notifications first and try to respond to those and then I go to my latest discussions and see if there are new responses there and then I go to my email and check off all that are there. It would be nice if all the new responses would be in ONE place with the name of the person who is making the response.
Maybe that is just too difficult for a site like this to figure out. I don't know much about how it works.
