Aesop for President - 2017 -
Old Aesop was a writer of long ago, perhaps, but he nailed it with his fable of the "Ass and the Old Shepherd." How did he so completely understand today's politics here in the United States when, at his day of living and writing, there was yet no United States.
Here is a (public domain) copy of Aesop's government election wisdom. Did he somehow have an inkling of how the battle to become the next U.S. president would be for the Year-2017 changeover? Was it to be Donald J. Trump or, instead, Hillary R. Clinton?

"The Ass and the Old Shepherd
A shepherd, watching his Ass feeding in a meadow, was alarmed all of a sudden by the cries of the enemy. He appealed to the Ass to fly with him, lest they should both be captured, but the animal lazily replied, 'Why should I? Do you think it likely the conqueror will place on me two sets of panniers?' 'No,' rejoined the Shepherd. 'Then, 'said the Ass, 'as long as I carry the panniers, what matters it to me whom I serve?'"
"In a change of government the poor change nothing beyond the name of their master."

@sherryericha - An EXCELLENT comment, too. Very excellent, even. Yes, I have a problem waiting for me when this election is done and gone - another election is out there just waiting for us.
By the way - The last time I was in your area I learned how to easily find the way to the Philly airport. You get behind one of those airport passenger vans and follow it. (Beats driving in the wrong direction all day...)
