Spent ages typing out a really long post.
Clicked start discussion and it didn't post.
The wee dotty thing went round and round and round.
Opened another tab and did some more comments
Went back and it still hadn't posted.
Woops hit the back button in error and post gone.
Has this ever happened to you?

Lucky you. I think it was best post I have ever written. Its not like I can really do it again. It was one of these spur of the moment topical posts. Lost forever.

@saulgoodman Strange. Possible a glitch with MyLot. I have had that happen, or it says it posted but didn't. Usually it fixes itself after loading the page.

It has happened to me on other sites. Now I always write my posts in a word document first just in case this does happen. Sorry you lost your post.

@saulgoodman Not that I know of but I'm not a phone expert. I write mine on my laptop.

Not managed to lose a post on here so far but a few times when I've attached a photo it has published the post without the photo, which can be kind of annoying if the post mentions the photo. I guess that's because the pic is too big.
